Firefox <\/strong>86 and full cookie protection<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h1>\n

The latest release of Mozilla <\/em>allows you to block cookies even more strictly. Full protection against cookies is the ultimate goal of these changes. This is the latest step in the ongoing battle to protect user data. Mozilla <\/em>has introduced its latest privacy feature with Firefox <\/em>86 for Mac<\/em>, Windows<\/em>, Linux<\/em> , and others called “Total Cookie Protection<\/em>.” With the new data protection option, a separate cookie jar <\/em>is created for each website you visit, to prevent tracking between multiple sites. <\/span><\/p>\n

Mozilla <\/em>has announced a new feature of Firefox <\/em>in its blog post:<\/span><\/p>\n

“Our new feature, Total Cookie Protection, manages a separate cookie jar for each website you visit. Each time a site or third-party content embedded in a site places a cookie in your browser, that cookie is limited to the cookie jar assigned to that site so that it cannot be shared with other websites.”<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The new security feature is part of Firefox’s<\/em> strict ETP (Enhanced Tracking Protection<\/em>) mode. However, there is support for cross-site tracking exceptions: <\/span><\/p>\n

“In addition, Total Cookie Protection makes a limited exception for cross-site cookies, if they are not used for tracking purposes, such as those used by popular login service providers.”<\/em><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1614884152633{padding-top: 50px !important;padding-bottom: 30px !important;}” font_family=”Open Sans”]Na ovaj na\u010din\u00a0Firefox\u00a0<\/em>ne\u0107e uticati na samu lagodonost sufrovanja, ali uz maksimalnu za\u0161titu privatnosti podataka. U\u00a0Mozille<\/em>-i imaju vrlo jasan stav o zna\u010daju privatnosti podataka svojih korisnika.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bez obzira da li proveravate stanje na banci, tra\u017eite najboljeg lekara ili kupujete cipele, nesavesne kompanije za pra\u0107enje ne bi trebalo da mogu da vas prate dok pregledate web. Iz tog razloga kontinuirano radimo na tome da Firefox u\u010dvrstimo protiv online pra\u0107enja na\u0161ih korisnika”.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Ovo je svakako veliki udarac za\u00a0digitalni marketing<\/a><\/span>, po\u0161to se na ovaj na\u010din uskra\u0107uje prikupljanje dragocenih podataka. Ipak\u00a0Firefox<\/em>-ov udeo na tr\u017ei\u0161tu pretra\u017eiva\u010da trenutno nije toliko veliki da bi mogao da napravi zna\u010dajnu razliku. Me\u0111utim, ako se i drugi preta\u017eiva\u010di<\/a><\/span> odlu\u010de da slede njihov primer, mogao bi se izgubiti pristup podacima na koje se ranije prili\u010dno oslanjalo pri reklamiranju.<\/span><\/p>\n

Da biste aktivirali striktni ETP re\u017eim, a time i potpunu za\u0161titu kola\u010di\u0107a, treba da uradite slede\u0107e. Kada ste u\u00a0Firefox<\/em>-u kliknite na \u0161tit postavljen levo od trake za URL adresu sajta. Panel\u00a0Preferences Privacy & Security<\/em>\u00a0otvori\u0107e se nakon \u0161to kliknete na Settings. Odavde odaberite opciju\u00a0Strict<\/em>\u00a0koji se nalazi pod\u00a0Enhanced Tracking Protection<\/em>. Na kraju, pritisnite dugme\u00a0Reload All Tabs<\/em>\u00a0da biste aktivirali\u00a0Total Cookie Protection.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
