Selling goods through Instagram<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

The new addition to Instagram Shopping<\/em> comes in the form of a platform for creators who sell things like artwork, illustrations, crafts and other goods. As a condition, all businesses that register must do so with a website<\/em> that they currently own and that is enabled for online<\/em> sales. <\/span><\/p>\n

Regardless of whether you sell candles through an e-commerce site, or are a food<\/em> blogger promoting your own cookware line, any business<\/em> or creator<\/em> account with at least one accepted product can use shopping<\/em> tags<\/em> to drive users to your<\/em> website.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1593077854030{padding-bottom: 30px !important;}”]\n

It will provide significantly greater transparency and a much more reliable shopping experience. <\/span><\/p>\n

To enable this change, Instagram has introduced new guidelines that interested businesses and creators must adhere to in order to qualify to sell on Instagram.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of these is that the Instagram account must represent a store or website<\/em> where the products are sold, the product listing must be available for direct purchase on the website<\/em> . Also, an Instagram account must demonstrate “credibility” by having an authentically established presence and a sufficient follower base. <\/span><\/p>\n
