To increase the performance of Google Search ads<\/a><\/em> , Google<\/em> chooses which plugins to display for each individual search. If you have an extension that is relevant to your business, it’s a good idea to use it. <\/span><\/p>\n

By adding extensions, the very visibility on the search results is increased. Google Ads<\/em> extensions can often lead to more clicks and provide users with additional ways to reach you, via a call or location on a Google<\/em> map.<\/span><\/p>\n

All extensions need to be set up manually, and once you’ve turned them on to show ads, everything is automated.<\/span><\/p>\n

When we talk about Google Ads<\/em> extensions, they are completely free. Clicks on ads, including extensions, are charged as they should be. This means that when someone clicks on the call-to-action extension, they are billed as standard as if someone had clicked on your ad without the extension. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sitelink extension<\/span><\/h3>\n

The sitelink<\/em> extension is displayed at the bottom of the ad and allows you to add additional pages from your site. Sitelinks<\/em> can be links to any page on your site, such as a contact page, a page with user testimonials, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Call extension<\/span><\/h3>\n

As the name suggests, this extension allows us to add a phone number to a Google ad<\/a><\/em> that users can click to call. From the additional settings, you can choose which days and at what time you want this extension to appear on your ad. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Callout extension<\/span><\/h3>\n

A callout<\/em> extension is additional descriptive text for an ad. These extensions are not clickable and they briefly describe your services or benefits like “24\/7 customer service” and the like. <\/span><\/p>\n

Location extension<\/span><\/h3>\n

The location extension has a hyperlink<\/em> option – and it’s clickable, so it gets extra attention. This plugin is displayed in a separate line at the bottom of the ad, and on mobile has an option with a link to your business. <\/span><\/p>\n

Although ad extensions are an advanced feature, they are very easy to set up and can significantly increase the result of a campaign. Of course, all of this should be tested because no campaign is the same. Set up an experiment with and without extensions and you’ll see after a while which works better. In most cases it will be a campaign with extensions. <\/span><\/p>\n
