They probably say: “well, we can have this too, why not”. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A separate blog can be written about copying newspapers from one social network to another. So, for example, arose <\/span> Instagram Reels<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/span> ,<\/span><\/i> Youtube Shorts,<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/span> but let’s leave that for another time. Today we will deal with a newspaper on <\/span>Facebook<\/span><\/i> that exists on<\/span> Twitter<\/span><\/i>– in since 2017. <\/span><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1626622902950{padding-top: 30px !important;padding-bottom: 30px !important;}” font_family=”Open Sans”]\n

New Facebook Like option<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

It’s<\/span> Threads<\/span><\/i> post option, which we can translate as a follow-up option, which allows adding new posts within the previous one, i.e. building on the original, previously published post – in order to create a larger picture of what is intended to be conveyed through that post. <\/span><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1626622995616{padding-top: 30px !important;padding-bottom: 30px !important;}” font_family=”Open Sans”]On<\/span> Twitter<\/span><\/i> this makes sense for what it was created for – the character limit, but<\/span> Facebook<\/span><\/i> has a slightly different focus when it comes to this new option, which is now being tested with select public figures.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What do they say from Facebook?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

“The Facebook Threats option could be used to comment on live events or users could update their existing posts. Given that Facebook is testing this feature with public figures, it may be intended to simplify news sharing. <\/span><\/i>“<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This may make some sense, but the problem may arise in the way those posts are displayed in expanded form. In terms of – which part will be displayed on <\/span>Feed<\/span><\/i>– and why exactly that one. Will only the beginning of the post be displayed or only the end? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It depends mostly on how<\/span> Facebook<\/span><\/i> decides to display them. The best would be to display the post in its entire form and in that case this new option would be quite useful. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As we noted,<\/span> Facebook<\/span><\/i> is currently testing the option with a small group of public figures, with no clear plans for full implementation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What exactly this option will look like and whether it will eventually be introduced remains to be seen in the coming period.<\/span><\/p>\n
